FAQ

How do I select my items?

I encourage you to select 2-3 items to borrow for your shoot and let me know via text or email. I suggest you arrange collection 48hours prior to your shoot date from my home location in Baldivis. This will allow you to try them on in the comfort of your home. Alternatively, I can bring them along with me to your shoot.

Can I wear more than one item for a shoot?

Of course! I always allow time for an outfit change. If you would like to include more than 2 outfits, please advise me prior to your shoot so I can adjust our start time if necessary.

What underwear should I wear?

Plain skin colour undies and bra are generally best for most dresses.
If you intend on wearing a strapless or off shoulder dress, please wear a strapless bra.
If you are wearing a sheer or low cut dress or robe, generally wearing no bra looks best. If you choose to wear a bra, try to choose something delicate, or use nipple pasties.
If you are wanting your underwear to stand out and be a feature of your images, then white or black lace is a good choice.
For family newborn shoots I recommend skin coloured period knickers to help you feel most comfortable.

Can I go nude or topless for a maternity shoot?

You sure can!
It's best to let me know in advance if you'd like to be nude or semi-nude so I can ensure we have chosen an appropriate location.
I often leave the nude shots until last, when you're feeling most relaxed.

Should I do my hair and makeup?

If you want to!
I encourage my clients to style themselves in a way that reflect who they are. If you regularly wear makeup and style your hair, then go for it! If you're more casual, then there's no need to go outside of your comfort zone, you are beautiful just the way you are.

How do I return the item(s)?

It is best to return the items to be on completion of the shoot. If you need to wear it home the item(s) must be returned to my home location in Baldivis within 48 hours.

Maternity Nudes

Or Go Nude?

As we near the end of your Maternity session, I invite you to consider stripping it all off. This can be a beautiful way to capture the raw strength and beauty of pregnancy, highlighting your incredible body in its most natural state. Of course, this is entirely up to you—there’s no pressure, and we’ll always ensure you feel comfortable, respected, and safe throughout the process.
