Birth Doula Services

Rockingham | Mandurah | Perth

CONNECTION, GUIDANCE, CONTINUITY, ADVOCACY AND EMPOWERMENT

Birth Support from Perth to Mandurah

I provide evidence-based doula care for families across Perth’s southern suburbs, from Rockingham to Mandurah. With a calm, continuous approach, I support you through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, helping you feel confident and informed every step of the way.

My role as your doula is to provide the knowledge, reassurance, and practical tools you need to feel empowered throughout your journey. I offer a balance of emotional, physical, and informational support, helping you prepare for birth with confidence, clarity and excitement.

I’m here as a calm, steady presence, offering evidence-based information, continuity of care, and advocacy when you need it most. You’ll have a trusted guide to navigate your options, find your voice, and make choices that feel right for you and your family.

I take a modern approach to doula care, grounded in respect for all types of birth, from physiological to medically supported. I believe birth often unfolds best when it’s supported, not managed, while recognising the important role of medical oversight. My goal is to provide unbiased, up-to-date information about all your options, from physiological birth and natural comfort measures to navigating common interventions or caesarean births, so you can make confident, informed decisions.

Every birth is unique, and so is the support you’ll receive. My role is to hold space, guide you through prenatal preparation, support you during birth, and help you move into motherhood feeling supported, confident, and powerful.

Client Love Notes

"Sarah provided all the support we could possibly need in preparation for our VBAC."

I stumbled across Sarah on social media and immediately something made me want her to be a part of my birth story. I’m not sure exactly why but I just knew she was the Doula for me. Sarah provided all the support we could possibly need in preparation for our VBAC. I learnt so much from Sarah but most importantly my husband learnt so much about how to be the best birth partner a woman could wish for and I’ll be forever grateful to Sarah for everything she did for us

– Shannon

"When my birth didn’t go the way I hoped..

Sarah was an absolute rock for me during my pregnancy and birth and I cannot recommend her more highly. She provided excellent support throughout my entire pregnancy and was always available to address any questions myself or my partner had. Sarah provided an extensive collection of evidence-based resources to guide my decision making during the lead up to my planned VBAC. When my birth didn’t go the way I hoped she guided me through my choices, allowing me a safe place to express my thoughts and fears.”

-Alana (part1)

My Daughter still asks when she is going to see Sarah again.

She always held space for me to process my own feelings with her calm, comforting and professional disposition. Not only is she an amazing doula but she an absolutely incredible photographer, capturing the beauty of my second caesarean birth with her breathtaking photos that I will cherish forever and to top it all off my 2 year old daughter adores her and still asks when she will see Sarah again- which speaks volumes to the impact she had on myself and my family.

Nope! A doula is not only there to support Mum, but to support her whole family. A doula can support your primary birth partner in developing the confidence and skills to enter labour feeling prepared and ready to support you!

I have completed the ‘Platinum Level Birth Doula Training’ through the Doula Training Academy with Vicki Hobbs.

In addition I have also attended Birth Cartographer Training with Cathrine Belle, a VBAC workshop with Hazel Keedle, a Birth Photography Workshop with Belle Verdiglione, a Chinese Medicine for Birth-workers workshop with Kate Thompson, and I am currently completing a lactation consultant course with Maternal Instincts.

I’m based in Baldivis and support families across Perth’s southern suburbs, from Mandurah to Perth and out towards Armadale.
