How newborn sessions work with me

Your newborn session will feel calm, baby-led and natural. Ideally done within the first 4 weeks of birth.

• Sessions can take place in your home or outdoors
• You can choose a relaxed family-style newborn session, a studio-style newborn portraits, or a mix of both.
• Studio setup newborn packages are charged differently to accommodate the additional time and equipment.
• Studio newborn sessions include a portable studio setup brought to your home

Choose your newborn session style

Family Focused (Lifestyle)

Family newborn sessions take place in your home or outdoors and focus on capturing your baby within the rhythm of your family.

These sessions are relaxed and unposed, with a natural, documentary feel.

This typically includes:

Family portraits with your newborn
Mum and baby, dad and baby, siblings with baby
A handful of relaxed and natural baby-only images (unposed).

No studio equipment or posing is used in this session style.

Baby Focused
(In-Home Studio Set Up)

With the studio-style set up, your baby is the focus of the session.

These sessions are ideal for parents who want softly styled, timeless portraits that capture every tiny detail, from nose to toes.

These sessions take place in the comfort of your home. I bring all the equipment; professional lighting, backdrops, wraps, and outfits, and create a small, portable studio from inside in your own home.

Your baby is gently and safely posed at a calm, unhurried pace to create classic newborn portraits.

Sessions that include the Studio set up have their own pricing structure, which you’ll find below.

What to Expect for Studio Setup

Everything is handled for you so you can simply enjoy the experience.

Sessions run for 1–3 hours, depending on your package.
Set up of the mini studio takes around 30min, I'll do this as soon as I arrive.
Studio Set up includes: Professional lighting and portable studio equipment brought to your home for classic, softly styled images.
A calm, baby-led approach that allows for breaks whenever needed.
Clean, natural editing with true-to-skin tones and a timeless finish.
Complimentary access to client wardrobe for both Mum and Bub.

I bring a full mini studio setup to you, lighting, wraps, and outfits so you can enjoy the comfort of home while we create soft, natural images that focus on your baby’s tiny details.

Private online gallery to choose your favourite images from, and share with friends and family
