Do I need to buy extra pads?
Not necessarily. Every TENS hire already includes one brand new set of 4 electrode pads. This product is simply available if you would like a second set for peace of mind or backup.
How many times can the pads be reused?
The pads are semi-reusable, but the number of uses can vary depending on skin prep, sweat, movement during labour, and how carefully they are handled and stored between uses. In my experience as a doula, most pads can usually be reapplied around 4 to 6 times during labour, though this is a guide only.
Are these compatible with both Elle and Obi TENS machines?
Yes. These pads are suitable for use with my hired Elle and Obi TENS machines.
Will they work with other TENS machines?
They may also suit most modern TENS or EMS units with a standard 2.0 mm pin connector, but please check compatibility before purchasing for a non-hire machine.
Can I return them if I do not use them?
For hygiene reasons, opened pads cannot be returned.

Many women find it reassuring to have a second set of pads ready to go, especially if labour is long, the original pads lose some stickiness with repeated reapplication, or you simply want a backup on hand just in case.
These are the same style of semi-reusable, medical-grade TGA-approved pads supplied with my TENS hires and are suitable for use with both the Elle TENS and Obi TENS machines.
